How to make an Eid Mubarak card with a name
An Eid card with someone’s name on it says “I thought of you”, not “I forwarded this to everyone”. Most card sites make you edit one card at a time, sign up, or put their logo on the picture. Here you type the name and the finished card appears straight away, right in your browser.
- 1
Type the name
Write the name the way the person likes to be called: “Ayesha”, “Uncle Imran”, “Khan family”. Arabic and Urdu letters work too, so you can write محمد or عائشہ.
- 2
Pick a design
Choose the gold lanterns, the green Arabic calligraphy card with “Taqabbal Allahu minna wa minkum”, the light pastel card, the Indonesian ketupat card or the Turkish tulip card.
- 3
Check the preview
The preview is the finished picture. Try a long name to see how it fits – the space for the name is wide enough for “Muhammad Abdullah”.
- 4
Download or share
Press Download image for a full-size JPG with no watermark, or Share on your phone to send it straight to WhatsApp, Instagram or any other app.
Send the card to your whole list, each with their own name
For a few relatives, making cards one by one is fine. For your whole family group, every customer of your shop or all your students’ parents, press “Send it to everyone with their own name”. The free Rapid Sender opens with the card attached and an Eid wish filled in.
Add your contacts from Excel or CSV, or paste the numbers. Rapid Sender prints each person’s name on their own copy of the card and sends it from your own WhatsApp, one message at a time. You see the card and the message for the first person before anything is sent.

Which Eid card to send to whom
Gold lanterns: a warm, classic card for family, friends and neighbours.
Arabic calligraphy: “عيد مبارك” and the traditional reply “تقبّل الله منا ومنكم” – a good choice for elders, the masjid committee or Arabic-speaking friends.
Pastel: light and gentle, ideal for “Zainab & family” or a card from your children to their teachers.
Idul Fitri ketupat: in Indonesian, with “Mohon Maaf Lahir dan Batin” – for friends and colleagues in Indonesia and Malaysia.
Bayram tulips: in Turkish, “Ramazan Bayramınız Mübarek Olsun” – for Turkish family, friends and customers.
The cards say Eid Mubarak without a date, so they also work for Eid al-Adha.
When to send your Eid cards
Eid al-Fitr 2027 is expected on Tuesday 9 or Wednesday 10 March 2027, depending on the moon sighting in your country. Many people send their cards on Chand Raat, the night before Eid, once the moon is announced – messages sent then are read before the Eid prayer, while a card sent at noon on Eid day gets lost among hundreds of others. Eid al-Adha 2027 is expected around 16–17 May 2027.
