Bulk sender for WhatsApp on PC and Mac, with no download
Looking for a bulk WhatsApp sender for PC? Rapid Sender runs in the browser you already have on Windows, Mac or Linux, so there is no .exe to download and no Chrome extension to add. Open the page, link your own WhatsApp with a QR code, upload your contact sheet and send a personal message, photo or PDF to up to 5,000 people. It is free and needs no signup.
Updated · Free · No install · Works with your own WhatsAppWhy a browser tool is better than a PC download
Most results for "whatsapp bulk sender for pc free download" lead to Windows setup files on download sites, or to cracked copies of paid software. Those files ask for full access to your computer, often come bundled with adware, and stop working the day WhatsApp changes something and the developer does not ship an update.
Rapid Sender is a web page. Nothing is installed, so there is nothing that can sit on your computer after you close the tab. Every time you open it you get the latest version, and it works the same way on a Windows 10 or 11 desktop, a MacBook, a Linux laptop or an office computer where you are not allowed to install programs.
No .exe, .dmg or .apk file to download and no admin rights needed
No Chrome extension reading every page you visit
Works in Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari and Brave
Always up to date, because the page itself is the app
No account, email or phone verification to sign up
How it compares with the other options for PC
People who want to message a big list from a computer usually end up choosing between four kinds of tools. Here is an honest look at each, so you can pick what suits you.
Browser tool (Rapid Sender): free, nothing to install, works on any operating system, uses your own WhatsApp number. Best for a few hundred to a few thousand people who know you. You need to keep the page open while it sends.
Chrome extension: runs inside WhatsApp Web in Chrome only. Many are free for a small number of messages and then ask for a paid plan. Extensions need permission to read and change pages, which some office IT teams block.
Windows software (.exe): runs only on Windows, often needs a licence key, and the free downloads on file-sharing sites carry a real risk of malware. Updates depend on one developer.
Official WhatsApp Business API: Meta's paid service for companies, sold through providers. It needs a verified business, approved message templates and a per-message fee. It is the right choice for very large daily volumes, not for a family wedding or a small shop.
Try it with your own list
Upload an Excel or CSV file, write your message and see exactly how it looks before anything is sent.
How to send bulk WhatsApp messages from your PC
The whole flow takes a few minutes the first time. You need your computer, your phone with WhatsApp on it, and your contact list in Excel or CSV (or you can type the numbers in).
- 1
Open Rapid Sender in your browser
Go to rapid-sender.com on your PC or Mac and click to start sending. There is no signup screen and no download prompt.
- 2
Link your WhatsApp with the QR code
On your phone open WhatsApp, go to Settings or the three-dot menu, tap Linked devices, then Link a device, and scan the QR code on your computer screen. It works just like WhatsApp Web, and your PC then shows up in the Linked devices list.
- 3
Add your contacts
In the Contacts step, upload an Excel (.xlsx or .xls) or CSV file whose first row has column names such as name, phone and city, or add people by hand. Pick the country code for numbers that do not have one; India (+91) is the default.
- 4
Write the message
Type your message and click the + Name button to drop in {{name}}, or any other column. Use the toolbar for bold or italic, and check the live preview to see exactly what one contact will receive.
- 5
Attach a photo or file if you need one
In the Photo or file step, add one image, video, voice note, PDF, Word, Excel or PowerPoint file up to 100 MB. You can even print each person's name on a PDF or photo.
- 6
Check and send, then watch the report
Review the summary and start. Messages go out one by one with a random pause, and a live report shows who has been sent to, who failed and who is still waiting. Download the report as Excel when it is done.
Keep the computer on while it sends
Because messages go out one at a time with a safety pause of 7 to 10 seconds by default, a list of 100 text messages takes about 16 minutes, and PDFs take a little longer. The confirm screen tells you how long your list will take before you start.
Until the send finishes, keep your PC awake, the Rapid Sender page open and your phone connected to the internet. A desktop that goes to sleep or a laptop with the lid closed can pause things. If you plan a long send, change your power settings so the screen can turn off but the computer does not sleep.
If you do refresh the page or the browser restarts, nothing is lost. Your contacts, message, file and report are saved in the browser, and you can send again only to the people who were left.
Not at a computer? It works in a phone browser too
Rapid Sender is built for a PC or laptop, where it is easiest to upload a spreadsheet and watch the report, but the same page also works in the browser on an Android phone or iPhone. There is no app to install from a store.
If you open it on the same phone that has your WhatsApp, you cannot scan a QR code shown on that phone's own screen. Instead choose the phone number option: Rapid Sender gives you a short pairing code, and you enter it in WhatsApp under Linked devices, using the option to link with a phone number instead.
What you can send from your PC
A personal message for each contact, filled in from your sheet with {{name}}, {{city}}, {{amount}} or any column you have
WhatsApp formatting: bold, italic, strikethrough and monospace, with keyboard shortcuts
One attachment: photo, video, voice note or audio, PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or text file, up to 100 MB
A PDF or photo with each person's name printed on it, in English or Indian-language fonts such as Gujarati and Hindi
An optional backup number that gets the message when a contact's number is not on WhatsApp
Is it safe to link your WhatsApp?
Linking works through WhatsApp's own Linked devices feature, the same one WhatsApp Web and the desktop app use. You can see Rapid Sender in that list on your phone and remove it at any moment with Log out. Your phone stays the main device.
The file you upload is deleted from the server after the send, and we do not sell your data. The real risk to think about is not the link itself but how you send: WhatsApp may limit numbers that message lots of people who did not expect it. Send to people who know you, keep the default pause, and read our guide on lowering the risk before a big send.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to download anything to use it on my PC?
No. Rapid Sender runs entirely in your web browser. There is no Windows installer, no Mac app and no Chrome extension, so you can use it on office or college computers where installing software is not allowed.
Does it work on a Mac?
Yes. Open it in Safari, Chrome, Edge, Firefox or any modern browser on macOS. The steps are exactly the same as on Windows: scan the QR code with your phone, upload your sheet and send.
Can I use my phone instead of a computer?
Yes, the page also works in a phone browser. Use the pairing-code option to link WhatsApp when the page is open on the same phone. A computer is still more comfortable for uploading Excel files and following a long send.
Does it work with a WhatsApp Business app number?
Yes. A number on the WhatsApp Business app can link devices the same way as a normal WhatsApp number, so you scan the QR code from the Business app under Linked devices. Messages are sent from that number.
Do I have to keep the browser tab open?
Yes, keep the page open, your PC on and your phone online until the send is finished. If the tab is refreshed by accident, your list and report are kept in the browser and you can carry on with the people who were not sent to yet.
Is Rapid Sender official WhatsApp software?
No. Rapid Sender is an independent tool that works with your own WhatsApp through Linked devices. It is not made, approved or sponsored by WhatsApp or Meta, and it is not the official WhatsApp Business API.
