What is a wa.me link?

wa.me is WhatsApp’s own public click-to-chat feature. A link like https://wa.me/919876543210 opens a chat with that number on the phone or computer of whoever taps it – they do not need to save your number first. Add ?text= to the end and the message box is filled in for them, so all they have to do is press send.

This tool simply builds that link for you correctly: it adds the country code, removes spaces, dashes and the leading 0, and encodes your message so emojis, line breaks and symbols like & survive. Nothing is sent anywhere – the link is made in your browser.

How to make your WhatsApp link

   India (+91) is picked for you. Search by country name or code if your number is from somewhere else.

   Type the WhatsApp number

   Enter the mobile number without the country code. Spaces, dashes and a leading 0 are fine – they are cleaned up for you.
