How to invite the whole guest list, each by name

  1. 1

    Make the guest list

Put guests' names and WhatsApp numbers in an Excel or CSV sheet – relatives, colleagues and neighbours can be separate sheets or one sheet with a group column.

  2. 2

    Link your WhatsApp

Open Rapid Sender in the browser and scan the QR code. Invitations go from your own number, so guests reply to you directly.

  3. 3

    Pick the message

Paste a message from this page and fill in {{groom}}, {{bride}}, {{date}} and {{venue}}. Keep {{name}} for each guest.

  4. 4

    Print names on the card

Attach the wedding card PDF and place each guest's name on it ("Shri ____ & family") – Hindi and Gujarati names work too.

  5. 5

    Send

Press Send. Every guest gets their own invitation in a one-to-one chat, with their name in the message and on the card.

Etiquette tips for parents

  • Call elders and close relatives first; send the WhatsApp card after the call as a reminder.

  • Send invitations 3–4 weeks before the wedding, and a reminder 1–2 days before.

  • Mention the muhurat time, a Google Maps link and a contact number for outstation guests.

  • Use the family's language for relatives – Hindi or Gujarati messages feel more personal to elders.

  • Only invite people you know. Rapid Sender is not made by or affiliated with WhatsApp or Meta.

Frequently asked questions

How do parents write a wedding invitation message?

Name the son or daughter and their partner, give the date and venue, and invite the guest with family: "Dear {{name}}, we joyfully invite you and your family to the wedding of our son Aman with Riya on 12 December at Shubh Lawns. Your blessings will mean a lot to us."

Is it okay to send a wedding invitation on WhatsApp to relatives?

Yes – it is now common, especially for relatives in other cities. For elders, call first and then send the card, and address them by name rather than forwarding the same message to everyone.

Add the guest list as a sheet, attach the card PDF and place a name box on it in Rapid Sender's editor. Each guest gets a separate WhatsApp from your number with their own name printed on the card.

"सादर आमंत्रण, हमारी सुपुत्री का शुभ विवाह {{date}} को है। इस मंगल अवसर पर आपकी उपस्थिति प्रार्थनीय है।" – मेहमान का नाम, तारीख और स्थान ज़रूर लिखें।
