Diwali Wishes With Name (and Photo) for Everyone
There are two ways to send Diwali wishes with name: write the person's name in the message text, or print the name on the Diwali greeting image itself. Rapid Sender does both for a whole list at once. Upload your Diwali card as a photo or PDF, place a name box on it, and each person gets their own copy with their own name, plus a caption that greets them by name. Below are 34 wishes made for this: short lines that fit on a card, and captions with {{name}}.
Updated · Free · No install · Works with your own WhatsAppDiwali captions with {{name}} (the message under your image)
These go in the message box. {{name}} becomes each person's name from your list, so Ramesh sees "Happy Diwali, Ramesh" and Sunita sees "Happy Diwali, Sunita". Pair any of them with your card.

Try it with your own list
Upload an Excel or CSV file, write your message and see exactly how it looks before anything is sent.
Two ways to add the name: in the text, or on the image
Name in the text: put {{name}} anywhere in your message. This is the quickest way and works for every wish above. You can also use any other column from your sheet, such as {{city}} or {{company}}.
Name on the image or card: this is what most people mean by "Diwali wishes with name". Most free "name on photo" websites make one image at a time, so 200 relatives means 200 downloads. Rapid Sender takes your one Diwali card (a JPG, PNG or a PDF), and you drag a name box to the spot where the name should go. You pick the font, size and colour, including Hindi and Gujarati fonts, and the live preview shows the card with a real name from your list. When you send, each person gets their own copy of the card with their own name printed on it.
You can do both at once: the card says "Dear Sunita" and the caption says "Happy Diwali, Sunita!"
How to send Diwali wishes with name to your whole list
- 1
Pick your Diwali design
Use your own card or make one in any design app. Leave clear space where the name will go. A square or portrait image around 1080 pixels wide looks sharp on phones.
- 2
Make your list
Create an Excel or CSV sheet with a name column and a phone column, or add a few people by hand. Write names the way you want them printed, for example "Sunita Masi" or "Patel Parivar".
- 3
Link WhatsApp and upload
Open rapid-sender.com, scan the QR code from WhatsApp, Linked devices (or use the pairing code), then upload your sheet.
- 4
Write the caption
Paste a caption from this page and click + Name to insert {{name}}.
- 5
Attach the card and place the name
Add the image or PDF, drag a text box onto it and link it to the name column, then choose the font, size and colour. Hindi and Gujarati names need a Hindi or Gujarati font.
- 6
Send a test, then everyone
Send a test to your own number to check the card, then start. With a random pause of about 7 to 10 seconds, 100 people take roughly 16 to 20 minutes. Keep the page open until the report says done.
Tips for a name-on-card Diwali wish that looks good
Leave a plain area for the name. Busy backgrounds make names hard to read; a light band or a diya-glow patch works well.
Check the longest name in your list in the preview. Shorten very long names in the sheet, or make the box wider.
If your list mixes English and Gujarati names, make two sheets and send twice, each with the matching font.
Add your business logo to the design before you upload it. The logo stays the same; only the name changes.
Send on Dhanteras (6 November) or Diwali morning (8 November). Late-night Diwali messages get buried.
Send to people who know you. A personal card from an unknown number feels odd, however nice it looks.
Frequently asked questions
How do I write a name on a Diwali greeting for free?
For one card, any photo editor works. For many people, upload your card to Rapid Sender, place a name box and send. Each person gets the card with their own name, free, in your browser with no app to install.
Can I add names in Hindi or Gujarati?
Yes. Choose a Hindi or Gujarati font for the name box and type the names in that script in your sheet. The preview shows exactly how it will look.
Can I add my logo too?
Yes. Put the logo into your card design before you upload it. Rapid Sender keeps the design as it is and only adds each person's name.
What image size works best on WhatsApp?
A square (1080 x 1080) or portrait (1080 x 1350) JPG or PNG looks good on phones. You can also use a PDF card if you prefer a printable greeting.
Will the image quality drop?
Your card is sent as a normal photo, so WhatsApp compresses it the same way it compresses any photo. Use a clear, high-resolution design and a large enough name so it stays sharp. Use a PDF if you need print quality.
Can I send it only to some people on my list?
Yes. After uploading, you can pick the contacts you want and send only to them.
Ready to send your message?
Upload your list, write your message and connect your WhatsApp. It is free and takes a few minutes.
