How to send Dhanteras wishes to everyone with their name
Rapid Sender is a free browser tool for WhatsApp that sends one message per contact from your own WhatsApp, with each person's name filled in. Shops use it to wish every customer on Dhanteras morning without typing each message.
- 1
Prepare your list
Make an Excel or CSV file with a name column and a phone column. Shops can export it from their billing software. Numbers don't need to be saved in your phone. Up to 5,000 rows per file.
- 2
Link WhatsApp
Open rapid-sender.com. On your phone go to WhatsApp, Linked devices, Link a device and scan the QR code, or use the pairing code.
- 3
Paste the wish
Upload the sheet, paste a Dhanteras wish and click + Name to insert {{name}}. The live preview shows exactly what one customer will see.
- 4
Attach a card (optional)
Add a Dhanteras card or poster as a photo or PDF, and print each person's name on it in English, Hindi or Gujarati fonts.
- 5
Test, then send
Send a test to yourself, then send to all or chosen contacts. A random pause of 7 to 10 seconds between messages keeps it natural; 100 contacts take about 16 minutes. Download the report as Excel when done.
Tips for Dhanteras messages
Send on the morning of Friday 6 November, or the evening of 5 November. Jewellers and shops should send a day earlier so customers can plan their visit.
Keep family wishes free of offers. For a sale message, use a separate Diwali offer message and send it only to customers who expect offers from you.
If you mention timings or offers, double-check them. A wrong time on Dhanteras means a crowd at a closed shutter.
Add your shop or firm name at the end, so people who haven't saved your number know who wished them.
Start big lists early. With the safety pause, 500 customers take a little over an hour.
Message only customers who know you. That keeps the risk to your number low and the replies friendly.
