Diwali sale announcement messages

Replace the shop name, discount and dates with yours. {{name}} becomes the customer's name. If you add an offer column to your sheet, {{offer}} becomes each customer's own offer, for example "Flat 20% off" for regulars and "Free gift wrap" for others. Or just type the offer in.

Attach your poster or catalogue

An offer poster or a PDF catalogue sells better than text alone. In Rapid Sender you attach one photo, video, PDF or document, and it goes out with each message. You can also print each customer's name on the poster, for example "Special Diwali offer for Meena ben", so it feels made for them.

Keep the poster readable on a phone: big price, short text, your shop name and address. Put the full product list in a PDF instead of squeezing it onto an image.

How to send your Diwali offer to customers with each name

  1. 1

    Prepare a clean customer list

Export the customers who agreed to receive offers from your billing software or register, with name and phone columns (and offer, if each customer gets a different one). Excel or CSV, up to 5,000 per file.

  2. 2

    Link your WhatsApp

Open rapid-sender.com and scan the QR code from WhatsApp, Linked devices, or use the pairing code. Free, in the browser, no signup.

  3. 3

    Upload and write the offer

Upload the sheet, paste an offer from this page and click + Name, or the button for your offer column. Check the live preview for a few customers.

  4. 4

    Attach the poster or catalogue

Add your offer image or PDF, and print the customer's name on it if you like.

  5. 5

Test, then send at a steady pace

Send a test to yourself first. Keep the default random pause of 7 to 10 seconds or make it longer; about 10 seconds per message means 100 customers in roughly 16 minutes. Keep the page open and download the report as Excel at the end.

Tips: stay helpful, not spammy

  • Message only customers who know your shop and agreed to get offers. Never use bought or scraped number lists.

  • End with an easy way out, such as: Reply STOP if you don't want offer messages. Then remove those numbers from your sheet.

  • One offer and at most one reminder per customer for the season. Too many messages lead to blocks and reports.

  • Send in daytime, ideally a week before Dhanteras (6 November) for gifting and jewellery, and 2 to 3 days before Diwali for sweets and decor.

  • Keep the greeting and the offer separate. A pure Diwali wish to all customers, and the offer only to those who want offers.

  • If you have a large list, split it over two days. Some numbers in any list are not on WhatsApp; the report shows them, or you can set an alternate number to receive those messages so you can follow up by call or SMS.

Frequently asked questions

How do I send a Diwali offer to all customers on WhatsApp?

Put your customers' names and numbers in an Excel or CSV file, upload it to Rapid Sender, paste your offer with {{name}}, attach your poster and send. Each customer gets a one-to-one message from your own WhatsApp.

Will my number get banned?

No tool can guarantee it won't. The risk comes from messaging people who don't know you and from people blocking or reporting you. Send only to customers who opted in, keep the random pause on, and don't send the same offer again and again.

Can I attach a catalogue or offer poster?

Yes. Attach one photo, video, PDF or document per send. You can also print each customer's name on an image or PDF.

How do I stay polite and not spammy?

Greet by name, give one clear offer with an end date, add a way to opt out, and don't send more than one reminder. Thank customers after the season too.

How many messages can I send?

Up to 5,000 contacts per file, but it is not unlimited or instant: with the safety pause, 100 messages take about 16 minutes. For big lists, send in batches over a day or two.

Can each customer get a different offer?

Yes. Add an offer column to your sheet and use {{offer}} in the message. Each customer sees the offer written in their row.
