How to make a Christmas card with a name
A card that says “Merry Christmas, Grandma Rose” is the one that gets saved and shown around the table. This maker writes the name on a ready-made design for you, in your browser – no app, no account and no watermark across the picture.
- 1
Type the name
Write the name the way you’d say it: “Maria”, “Uncle Joe”, “The Fernandes Family”, “Pastor David”.
- 2
Pick a design
Classic red with gold and green baubles, a snowy night with a little cottage, a cream card with the star of Bethlehem for church and family, or the Spanish and Portuguese cards.
- 3
Check the preview
The preview is the finished card. Long family names fit in the space under “Merry Christmas”.
- 4
Download or share
Press Download image for a full-size JPG, or Share on your phone to post it to WhatsApp, Instagram or Facebook.
Send a Christmas card to your whole list with each name
Press “Send it to everyone with their own name”. The free Rapid Sender opens with the card attached and a Christmas wish typed in. Add your contacts from Excel or CSV and every person gets the card with their own name on it, sent one by one from your own WhatsApp.
Churches use it to greet the whole congregation, schools for every parent, and shops and agencies for every client – without anyone receiving a card made out to someone else.

Which Christmas card for whom
Red and gold baubles: the classic card for family, friends and customers.
Snowy night: calm and cosy, with “Season’s greetings” – a good choice for colleagues, clients and friends of any faith.
Star of Bethlehem: a cream card with “Wishing you a blessed Merry Christmas” and Luke 2:14, made for churches, Christian families and prayer groups.
Feliz Navidad and Feliz Natal: the same quality in Spanish and Portuguese, for friends and family in Latin America, Spain, Brazil and Portugal.
When to send your Christmas cards
Send personal cards on Christmas Eve (24 December) or Christmas morning. Business cards do better a few days earlier, between 18 and 23 December, before people switch off for the holidays. The snowy card also says “a happy New Year”, so you can send one card for both.
